Doc Stories, running from November 6-9, announced its lineup today, selecting Cover-Up – directed by Oscar winner Laura Poitras and Mark Obenhaus – as the Opening Night film. The Closing Night berth goes to A Life Illuminated, the documentary about marine biologist Dr. Edie Widder directed by Tasha Van Zandt. Actress and filmmaker Mariska Hargitay will screen her acclaimed documentary My Mom Jayne on Thursday, Nov. 6 at an event free and open to the public.
