Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest movie, One Battle After Another, may have stunned critics, but it’s turning into a big money problem for Warner Bros. Despite being directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and packed with star power, the film is reportedly losing close to $100 million at the box office (via Variety).
As per Box Office Mojo, the movie has made around $141 million worldwide. But turns out, that’s not nearly enough to cover its massive budget and marketing costs. With a production cost of $130 million and another $70 million spent on promotions, it needs to earn at least $300 million just to break even.
