Squid Game‘s third and final season has come and gone, but there’s more entertainment to be had as Netflix looks ahead to Season 2 of the competition show based on the popular series with Squid Game: The Challenge.

Debuting back in 2023, the series saw everyday people compete in a series of challenges inspired by the flagship show for a chance to win a top prize.

Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 will officially premiere on Tuesday, November 4, for an all-new season of high-stakes games.

Does Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 have a trailer?

Yes! The trailer for Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 was revealed on October 16, embedded above. It shows some of the games ahead in the new season, including the six-legged pentathlon, mingle, and house of cards, among others. It also previews the personal connections that some characters will have, including a father-daughter duo who will get very emotional about what they’re expected to do in the game.

What will happen in Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2?

As with Season 1, Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 will recruit 456 players to compete in a series of challenges until only one player remains, claiming the ultimate prize of $4.56 million.

The logline for the new season tells us, “This time, 456 brand-new contestants will enter the ultimate test of strategy, alliances, and endurance as they compete for a life-changing $4.56 million prize. Inspired by the iconic original series – with shocking new twists and never-before-seen games – Season 2 raises the stakes higher than ever. As players face elimination at every turn, only one can emerge victorious. New players. New games. New rules.”
