Live Nation/Ticketmaster

Live Nation’s Ticketmaster has tapped former Square CPO Saumil Mehta to serve as its global president effective November 1st, when existing president Mark Yovich will become chairman.

Believe Japan

KiSML founder Kazunari Imai has joined Believe Japan as the company’s first chairman and strategic business relations senior executive director.

AXS

AXS has brought on former Meta engineering exec Nikhil Bobde as CTO; Alex Hazboun, having occupied the post for about nine years, has transitioned to chief innovation officer.

iHeartMedia

Following a string of layoffs, iHeartMedia has boosted nearly 30-year team member Rich Davis to programming SVP for Minneapolis and program director for KEEY FM.

Meanwhile, Gregg Swedberg is stepping down from the programming helm after about 35 years with iHeart to assume “a new strategic advisor role with the company.” In the position, he’ll “focus on assisting with iHeart Country projects.”

Reverb

Former SoundCloud, Vimeo, and Care.com higher-up Ben Stahl has started as Reverb’s CEO.

1916 Enterprises

Jonathan Gordon’s 1916 Enterprises has promoted director of publishing A&R and management Ruchir Mohan to partner.

Karma Artists

London’s Karma Artists Management has promoted Jess Miller, who’s been with the company for about six years, to senior creative and operations manager. Additionally, Kobalt A&R vet Anne Sandig has formally signed on as senior manager.

Avex Music Group

Avex and S10 have opened a New York office and announced a number of appointments and promotions.

On the hires side, the company is adding ex-Arista VP Zeke Silvera as SVP and A&R head; former beatBread publishing GM Spencer LeBoff is likewise joining as SVP, albeit while based in LA as opposed to New York and with a focus on publishing and acquisitions.

Also part of Avex are Republic vet Miles Beard and Tay James as senior A&R consultants as well as Megan Timko, most recently an executive manager with a “confidential recording artist’s company,” as head of operations.

Regarding promotions, Avex has elevated Jessica Roxana and Claudia Schumann to senior marketing roles, besides upping Rory Sever to chief of staff.

The Other Songs

The Other Songs has welcomed former NQ higher-up Louis Brown as GM and Raju Watts (most recently with MDLBEAST) as financial director.

Nettwerk Music Group

Nettwerk UK has officially announced former Universal Music Recordings A&R manager Owen Lloyd as its director of catalog marketing and development.
