We’re still nearly a year away from next August’s big Star Trek 60th Anniversary convention in Las Vegas, but organizer Creation Entertainment is warning fans that it’s better to buy tickets early… or risk missing out on getting a chance to attend the annual bash.
Taking place next year from August 5-9 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, 2026’s STLV: Trek to Vegas convention will be a big one as Creation Entertainment expects to exceed their 50th Anniversary convention experience from back in 2016.
In an email sent out to past attendees this week, they made it clear that latecomers may not have the opportunity to visit the show if they wait too long to buy tickets or make reservations at the hotel.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all our fellow Star Trek fans from around the world for your unprecedented support for the upcoming ST:LV Trek to Vegas, celebrating the incredible 60th Anniversary of Gene Roddenberry’s legacy.
Based on preliminary sales – and much like the 50th Anniversary — it looks like this upcoming event will sell out early, along with rooms at Rio Las Vegas. There is also a chance that we will not be able to offer single-day tickets (which also happened 10 years ago).
We want everyone who wants to attend know the current situation with admissions, and we will update as we go forward. If you haven’t grabbed seats yet, click here!
We’ve been running Star Trek fan conventions for over 40 years, and this current response has really blown us away! We are grateful to the Trek community who has been incredibly loyal to Creation for over 45 years. We want you to know that we don’t take this support lightly, and all of us here are completely invested in delivering the absolute best Creation fan event ever. It will be hard to beat last year, but we will with your support.
The special convention rates for rooms at the Rio Hotel can be found at Creation Entertainment’s website here.
As of this writing, the highest-tier “Gold” weekend passes have all sold out, only 179 second-tier “Captain’s Chair” tickets ($769) remain, and only 11 third-tier “Copper” tickets ($459) are still available for the event. More than 400 General Admission full-weekend passes ($349) have fully sold, leaving 372 tickets remaining for full five-day attendees at this point.
As Creation notes in their email above, single-day tickets for the event (especially for Saturday or Sunday) may not become available if their projected demand continues on its current trajectory.
