WWE Raw was already stacked with three championship matches before Adam Pearce announced a huge #1 contendership for the newly vacated world heavyweight championship. After addressing Seth Rollins’ injury would require him to miss a decent amount of time, Pearce officially stripped Rollins and moved on to his next line of business: crowning a new champ.
CM Punk won a #1 contender’s match last week and Pearce was going to honor that. So tonight, there would be a #1 contender’s battle royal to determine who would face Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November. About an hour through Raw, the field for the match was revealed:

- Ivar
One of these men will go on to face CM Punk to compete for the newly vacated title and it’s anyone’s guess who will emerge from that stacked field. Check back later for full results from the match.
