Bandai Namco and RENGAME have shared a new music video for the upcoming Once Upon A KATAMARI.
This latest song, “Clémentine,” was performed by the titular artist with music and arrangement by Satoru Kosaki of MONACA.
About Once Upon A KATAMARI
Marking the first new Katamari Damacy game in 14 years, Once Upon a KATAMARI sends the Prince and his 68 cousins through different historical eras after the King of All Cosmos causes chaos yet again.
Alongside new stages and soundtrack entries, the game introduces mechanics like a magnetic tool that pulls in nearby objects to streamline the rolling process. Character customization has also been expanded, letting players tweak the color and facial features of their favorite cousin.
A new multiplayer mode called KatamariBall will support both online and offline matches for up to four players. It pits cousins against each other in an arena-style competition.
The King of All Sounds Edition bundles the base game with two soundtrack collections: Katamari Damacy Series Songs: Side A and Side B. Preorders for any edition will unlock early access to three face customization parts. However, these items can also be earned through regular progression.
Once Upon a KATAMARI will be released on October 24, 2025, on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
