Jon M. Chu is an American director, producer and screenwriter. In addition to the “Wicked” movies, he has directed other criticall-acclaimed movies, such as “Crazy, Rich Asians,” “In the Heights” and three movies in the “Step Up” franchise.
He is set to direct a movie based on the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” and a Dr. Suess animated film “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” which will feature Ariana Grande voicing a main character.
