Who is the guest judge on ‘DWTS’ this week? ‘Wicked’ director Jon M. Chu to judge

Jon M. Chu is an American director, producer and screenwriter. In addition to the “Wicked” movies, he has directed other criticall-acclaimed movies, such as “Crazy, Rich Asians,” “In the Heights” and three movies in the “Step Up” franchise.

He is set to direct a movie based on the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” and a Dr. Suess animated film “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” which will feature Ariana Grande voicing a main character.

When “Wicked” first dropped on streaming platforms, it was only available to stream for free with a subscription on Peacock. Now, the movie has moved to Amazon’s Prime Video, which is the only platform where it’s available to stream for free with a subscription as of Oct. 20, 2025.
