The chopping block returned to “Dancing with the Stars” Tuesday, Oct. 21, after an unexpected no-elimination night last week.
And who was on the chopping block for week 6 was surprising.
“‘Wicked’ Night” saw 10 contestants perform to the musical’s hit songs in celebration of the upcoming movie “Wicked: For Good.” The director of the “Wicked” films, Jon M. Chu, was even a special guest.

Scores from last week were combined with this week’s for an overall score out of 80.
The night featured highs, including a major standing ovation for actress Elaine Hendrix, as well as the tough low of an elimination.
DWTS week 6 sees a contestant surprisingly ‘in jeopardy’
The final three contestants in jeopardy included a shocking choice. Reality TV star and influencer Dylan Efron, who topped the leaderboard last week, joined singer Scott Hoying and comedian Andy Richter on the chopping block. The latter two weren’t that surprising, given Richter had the lowest overall score and Hoying had the second lowest overall score on this week’s leaderboard.
Who was voted off ‘Dancing with the Stars’ last night?
Efron, however, was saved. Scott Hoying, a Grammy-winning singer and member of the a capella group Pentatonix, was sent home in week 6 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
His performance was “wobbly,” according to TV Line. The musician scored 28 out of 40, for an overall score of 58 out of 80. “After getting stuck in The Land of the Sevens for multiple weeks of scoring,” TV Line wrote, “Scott was sent home.”
