‘Dancing with the Stars’ ‘Wicked’ night, here’s who was eliminated

• “Dancing with the Stars” celebrated the musical “Wicked,” with contestants dancing to songs from the movie.
• Florida influencer Alix Earle scored a 35 out of 40 for her Jazz performance with partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

“Dancing with the Stars” got a little “Wicked” last night, with all of the celebrities and their pro partners “Dancing through Life” to songs from the hit movie musical, in honor of the sequel, “Wicked: For Good” releasing in theaters next month. The movie’s director, Jon M. Chu, even guest-judged the episode.

The show got a little Florida flair this week, too, with pre-recorded clips of Floridian Ariana Grande, who plays Galinda in the movie, and co-star Cynthia Erivo interspersed throughout the episode.

There were also some Floridian faces in the crowd. Fort Lauderdale native and actress Sofia Carson was spotted in the crowd, and so was Melbourne-born “Love Island USA” host Ariana Madix, who took third place on “Dancing with the Stars” season 32.

Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying and partner Rylee Arnold were eliminated on last night’s episode.

“Rylee is my favorite person ever. I had so much fun. I learned so much. And it’s ‘Wicked’ night. A perfect way to go,” Hoying said.
