WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – The Wings Over Wrightsville Beach airshow is scheduled to take flight next week.
The airshow will be centered on Lifeguard Station 10 and held between public accesses 32 and 34, according to a post by the Wrightsville Beach Fire Department on Facebook.
Families, residents, and plane enthusiasts can expect to see aerial performances from Rooster Schmidle, RJ Gritter Airshows and the Warbird Thunder Airshows. There will also be the playing of the U.S. National Anthem and flyovers.
The show is free and open to the public on Oct. 2 from 5 to 6 p.m.
