Kourtney Kardashian is standing by her decision to hide her almost 2-year-old son Rocky’s face from the public.
The Lemme founder, 46, unintentionally caused a stir online on Friday, October 17, when she shared a Halloween-inspired set of photos showcasing both new and old pictures of her and her family. But it was, of course, the photo of her and husband Travis Barker’s toddler that drew the most attention.
The image showed baby Rocky standing in the driver’s seat of a car, hands on the steering wheel. The mother of four placed a Halloween jack-o-lantern emoji over Rocky’s face.
Dozens of followers chimed in, some criticizing the decision to hide his face.
“Still acting like we care what the kid looks like,” one user commented, to which another replied, “This is a sign you care [by the way].”
Although Kardashian didn’t respond directly, she made her opinion known by “liking” the defender’s comment.
Her subtle gesture seemed to rally support from others.
“Girl you do you and keep your children safe,” one fan wrote. “It doesn’t concern others what your child looks like!”
“Honestly, I find it odd how many people demand to see celebrities children. It’s weird. Stop being a creep,” another Instagram user wrote.
Rocky is the first child Kardashian shares with Barker. The couple welcomed him on November 1, 2023. While the public has never seen a close-up photo of Rocky, their marriage and journey into parenthood was documented on The Kardashians on Hulu.
