America’s Next Top Model star Eugena Washington recently took to TikTok to slam the show’s creator, Tyra Banks, who she says is in her “flop era.”
Eugena, 41, who competed on Season 7 of ANTM, opened up about her disdain for supermodel Tyra, 51, over past issues she has with her. The model was “honest” in the TikTok video, sharing why she “enjoyed” seeing the SMiZE and DREAM ice cream founder seemingly having business struggles.
Tyra’s ice cream brand’s signature “hot ice cream” has sparked just as much controversy as praise, with many ridiculing the former Victoria’s Secret angel and television personality for her puzzling creation.
“Can I be honest? As an ANTM alum, I enjoy watching this flop era of Tyra [Banks],” Eugena declared in her selfie video. “I enjoy watching her flop. I enjoy watching her business not do well. I enjoy it being a f- -kshow.”
Eugena continued, “I enjoy seeing her trying to come back out, but it just looks a f- -king mess. I enjoy it, and I think she deserves it. I think this fantastic karma for her.”
She added, “I think the fact that she refuses to apologize is what’s gonna keep her failing. Because a real, genuine, honest person, would instead of saying, ‘Oh I pioneered diversity in the modeling industry, I don’t think anybody remembers that, but that was me.’
“You know, and, ‘We made so many changes,’ I think trying to cover everything up by constantly saying how much you pioneered something, that doesn’t make up for anything. The fact that she never apologized for the damage she caused so many people and we’re all supposed to be afraid. It’s really fun to watch her flop. That’s all.”
Eugena didn’t clarify what Tyra should “apologize” for, but it might be related to the alleged mistreatment of contestants on ANTM.
In 2022, Newsweek reported that former ANTM host Tyra and Janice Dickinson faced criticism for their purportedly harmful behavior towards contestants throughout the show’s run, following the emergence of numerous clips from the series online.

This wouldn’t be the first time Eugena has criticized Tyra for how she and other ANTM contestants were treated.
“I felt like my life was being put on the line for ratings,” she confessed to Business Insider in 2022. She also revealed to the news outlet that “[she and the other ANTM contestants] were all nervous because we didn’t know what the f- -k was going on. It was dangerous.”
