2025 has been quite the year for Miley Cyrus, not only has she released her album ‘Something Beautiful‘, along with a film of the same name, but she’s also released ‘Secrets‘ which is a ‘peace offering’ to her dad.
Now the singer has been announced for a song on the soundtrack of the upcoming film Avatar: Fire and Ash. The movie, which will be released on 19th December around the world, will be preceded by the new song from Miley called ‘Dream As One’.
Miley took to Instagram to share a clip of the song with a video. In the caption she opened up about what it meant to her to work on the song, and her connection to it: ‘Honored to support Avatar: Fire and Ash with an original song I’ve written with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt.
‘Having been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me. Thank you, Jim, for the opportunity to turn that experience into musical medicine. The film’s themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul, and to be even a small star in the universe the Avatar family has created is truly a dream come true.’ (sic)
In response to Miley’s post, Mark Ronson wrote: ‘❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥’, with a fan writing: ‘It’s incredible, congratulations you deserve it.❤️’. Another fan commented: ‘So proud can’t wait to see the film and listen your song ❤️🔥❤️’.
