Bad Bunny, Karol G and Fuerza Regida were the biggest winners at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday. The annual event included special tributes to Bad Bunny, Elvis Crespo, Laura Pausini, and Peso Pluma, and saw the return of Daddy Yankee to the stage.
Bad bunny took home 11 awards, including artist of the year; global 200 Latin artist of the year; and hot latin songs artist of the year, male. The title track of his chart-topping “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” earned three trophies, including song of the year, streaming, while the album was named top Latin album of the year. He was also recognized as the Billboard top Latin artist of the 21st century, an award he received from Rita Moreno.

Karol G took home six awards, including hot Latin songs artist of the year, female. Her single “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” won four awards, including global 200 Latin song of the year; Latin airplay song of the year; sales song of the year and tropical song of the year.
Fuerza Regida earned five awards as the regional Mexican artist of the year, duo or group, and took home two awards for their hit “Tu Boda” featuring Óscar maydon, which won regional Mexican song of the year and hot latin song of the year, vocal event.
Other standout winners included Shakira, who took home three awards, including tour of the year; Latin pop artist of the year, solo, and latin pop song of the year for “Soltera,” as well as Peso Pluma, Netón Vega, and Óscar Maydon, who each earned two trophies.
The ceremony was hosted by Elizabeth Gutiérrez, Goyo, and Javier Poza.
