Bruce Springsteen was welcomed with overwhelming cheers and admiration as the legendary rockstar graced the premiere of his new biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White.

The music icon, who was joined by his wife Patti Scialfa, attended the star-studded red carpet on the opening night of the 2025 AFI Fest.

As expected, the “Born to Run” hitmaker didn’t fail to impress with his dapper look in a classic black suit while his better half looked chic and stunning in a long mock-neck maxi dress styled with leather pointy boots.

After the red carpet, the spotlight shifted to the stage where director Scott Cooper introduced the lead stars including The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White, Jeremy Strong, Odessa Young, child star Matthew Anthony Pellicano and others.

Adding to the excitement, Springsteen joined the cast on stage with Cooper, calling him the “reason” everyone had gathered for the premiere.

“The man who has for six decades given the world so many gifts. I felt this man was at the exact right time in my life when I most needed to,” the director said, noting that he never knew that he would make a film about him.

Fighting back emotion, Cooper introduced the ’70s rock icon to the crowd with heartfelt words.

“So often they say, you don’t meet your heroes because they will disappoint you. This gentleman far exceeded my expectations. He was an incredibly generous collaborator,” he shared, adding that he would entertain his questions day or night.

After an emotional introduction, Springsteen stepped onto the stage as the crowd erupted into a standing ovation.

Following this, the singer-songwriter made a surprise performance of “Atlantic City,” a track from his 1982 album Nebraska.

Other than a few phones in the air recording the moment and bursts of applause, the crowd was utterly spellbound as he performed live with his guitar.

While it had its world premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival in August, Deliver Me From Nowhere will officially hit theaters on October 24.

The film chronicles Springsteen’s rise to global stardom, capturing the challenges and pressures he faced while recording his 1982 studio album Nebraska.

Taking on the demanding role, White admitted he initially doubted whether he could do justice to portraying the music icon.

“My first thing was, can I perform these songs with a little bit of honesty? Can I do justice to the lyrics?” he told People.

He managed to work on his technique and find a strategy to improve, but ended up losing his voice.

“He had years and years of playing in rooms like this and in s—– P.A. systems and really like testing his voice and training, and I didn’t have that,” the actor shared, adding, “I didn’t have that time, so I needed to shout and that took me out. I remember recording ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ and losing my voice for a couple days.”
