Eddie Osefo is back to work after being arrested on fraud charges.
Eddie, 41, surprised fans when he showed up at his cannabis brand Happy Eddie’s pop-up event at Far & Dotter in Pikesville, Maryland, on Friday, October 24, sources exclusively told Us Weekly.
Eddie arrived without his wife, The Real Housewives of Potomac star, Wendy Osefo, and just before the pop-up opened to the public at 1 p.m. local time, one insider shared.
The same eyewitness told Us that Eddie was in “great spirits” and was seen laughing and mingling with attendees during the two-hour event.
“He was very welcoming and inviting,” the source said, noting Eddie’s conversation with everyone was “light and good-hearted.”
He spoke about his Happy Eddie brand and working in the cannabis industry, but did not talk about his and Wendy’s recent arrests or charges, the insider explained.
Eddie’s conversation was “nothing out of the ordinary,” the source added.
He posed for a few photos and gave out swag, including his cannabis brand’s shirts, hoodies and lighters.

Eddie’s appearance also helped drum up business for the local dispensary hosting the event.
“It was definitely busy,” the insider told Us, noting that the pop-up “had a nice steady flow.”
He also posted about the event earlier in the day on Happy Eddie’s social media, writing, “Proud to be back in the community today @fardottermaryland Pikesville spreading Happy Vibes.”
Eddie and Wendy, 41, were arrested on October 9 on charges of insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and making a false statement to a police officer.
Both have denied the allegations and hired separate attorneys to fight the charges.
Eddie hired powerhouse attorney Joseph Murtha, who has ties to President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky’s former case, Us exclusively reported.
He and Wendy are demanding that the charges against them be dismissed and that all evidence collected be suppressed, claiming an unlawful search and seizure.
The charges stem from an alleged burglary at their Maryland home in April 2024.

The RHOP stars reported that various expensive items were taken while they were on vacation.
Prosecutors accused Eddie and Wendy of making misleading statements to insurance companies and claiming that the items they reported stolen were either returned to the store or still in their possession.
A rep for the couple released a statement shortly after their arrest.
“Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits,” the statement read. “They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues. The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.”
