Baltimore, Maryland-based band ilyAIMY (i love you And I Miss You), whose music has been described as “jaw-dropping acoustic percussive folk rock,” will perform Sept. 6 in Ambridge as part of its current U.S. tour.
The one-day show in western Pennsylvania takes place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Harkins Mill Wines, 564 Merchant St. Admission is free, and wine, beer and food will be available to purchase at the event.

Who is ilyAIMY?
Fronted by Rob Hinkal and Heather Aubrey Lloyd, ilyAIMY (pronounced ill-YAY-mee) has performed its own original music and a variety of cover songs over the past 22 years, both as a duo and with the full six-piece band.

The award-winning band is currently touring as a trio, with Hinkal playing guitar and vocals, Lloyd playing the djembe (an African drum), guitar and vocals and Kristen Jones, Hinkal’s wife, playing cello and vocals.
The “Finish America Tour” began in late August with dates in several cities across their home state of Maryland. In September, ilyAIMY moves northwest to play in Ambridge and in Toledo, Ohio, as the band embarks on a tour of 13 states where it has not played before, including Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska and Missouri.
