Country music superstar Kenny Chesney recently sat down with Ashley Till for a special town hall on SiriusXM’s No Shoes Radio. During the chat, the two covered a number of different topics, including Chesney’s upcoming shows at The Sphere in Las Vegas, with Chesney admitting that things will be different than the stadium tours he’s been doing in recent years.
“We have to change it some. Half the show’s probably gonna be completely different and we’re gonna change some of it that was not, you know, there’s some songs that we haven’t done in a while that we’re gonna do,” Chesney said.
“That’s the beauty of it, because in that environment you get to do songs that you don’t get to do at stadium shows, and so we did a lot of that this year and we’re gonna do some more of that next summer, but I would say probably at least half the show is gonna be completely different because I wouldn’t want to go to the Sphere one year and then come back the next year and see the exact same thing. It’s like, ‘Oh, well, I went to the circus last year and they did the same thing this year,'” he added.
Chesney recently announced his plans to return to The Sphere, with a few shows scheduled for June 2026.
“It’s finally time to make it a REALITY. My first summer at Sphere was so special. Watching you guys experience the magic gave me so many ideas — reworking some songs from last year and adding a few that deserved this 4-D treatment,” Chesney captioned an Instagram post on Oct. 21.
“There are a lot of ways to play this venue, but I’m pretty sure nobody’s had more fun or brought more joy than No Shoes Nation. If you missed it, come on! And if you were there, come live it again — because this isn’t something you get to do every year,” the caption continued.
