James Kennedy stepped out of the Bravo spotlight in 2024. But in 2026, his light is shining bright on a whole new chapter, complete with a pregnant fiancée named Jordan Meyers.
For years, James spun tracks and wittily clapped back at his co-stars on Vanderpump Rules. His time on this series, however, was marked by several scandals, including an arrest that occurred in 2024. This arrest came after the cameras stopped rolling on his cast for their final season. But now, James is looking ahead, and he is doing so with a new leading lady by his side.
As for Jordan, this North Carolina native is a digital content creator and influencer. She specializes in fashion, lifestyle, and nightlife aesthetics, and has already created promotional content for major brands, such as Victoria’s Secret and Parade. But now, Jordan is adding two new titles to her resume: future bride and mother to her first child with James. Here is the timeline of their relationship.
When did James Kennedy and Jordan Meyers start dating?
James and Jordan met sometime around the end of 2025. As Jordan recently explained, “We initially connected on Instagram and then met in person at one of his shows. I’m from North Carolina, so I went to visit James for what was supposed to be ‘three days’ … [That quickly] turned into eight months together.”
Clearly, they were both immediately smitten with the other. In fact, Jordan continued, “The second I met James, we instantly felt such a strong spark between us.” Their relationship has quickly progressed ever since.
Last December, Jordan shared several reels of herself dancing and smiling at LIV Las Vegas. “LIVin that life,” she captioned her collection. And in the second reel, we see her standing behind the DJ, who just so happened to be James. Jordan and James continued to interact throughout this posted collage, and only two weeks later, Jordan posted again, showing her and James attending a show together at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California.
They did not officially go public with their relationship, however, until several months later. But when they did confirm their romance, they also confirmed a major, unexpected plot twist.
The couple announced an unexpected pregnancy
In May, news broke that James was expecting his first child with Jordan. At that time, though, no one knew her name. All we knew was that their romance moved rather “quickly.” So quickly, in fact, that they celebrated their love with a themed event, and they invited all of their friends and family from their “inner circle” to attend.
Immediately, outlets began speculating. So, James finally spoke up, revealing not only his new partner’s name, but also the fact that he and Jordan were about to become a party of three. “We are thrilled to share that Jordan and I are expecting our first child together,” James shared. “We have previously kept our relationship out of the public eye, and this is the first time we’re sharing it,” he explained.
Online, James further confessed that he could not “wait to welcome our first little one to the world.” Also, “I can’t wait to be a Dad!!!”
That said, the people in their inner circle already knew of these unexpected details. “We’ve shared this news privately with close friends and family for some time now,” James admitted. But now, he explained, “As we prepare for this next chapter, it felt like the right moment to [go public. This is an incredibly special and meaningful time for us,” he said, and “We feel deeply grateful [for the] love and support from our family and friends.”

Life continues to move quickly for James and Jordan, as only a handful of weeks after confirming their big baby news with the world, James made another huge announcement. He and Jordan are now engaged following a romantic getaway to Lake Como in Italy, he shared. And while confirming this news online, James thanked Jordan “for making me the luckiest guy in the world.” He also said, “I love you, adventures with you forever and ever.”
Meanwhile, on her Instagram page, Jordan shared several images taken during his proposal. Her cover image showed James down on one knee in front of her, set against a stunning Italian backdrop. Jordan also showed off her massive sparkler, alongside several loved-up images of the pair.
In her captain, Jordan wrote, “Forever with my best friend. Thank you for all the laughter, smiles, and love you give me. I feel so blessed to fall asleep and wake up next to you every single day— I can’t wait to do that forever.” James agreed, because in her comments, he wrote, “I love you! [I] can’t wait for it all!!!!”
