The popularity surrounding Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce continues to reach new heights. The ten-time Pro Bowler was praised by hip hop and entertainment mogul Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson during a recent interview on ExtraTV.
In a recent clip from Jackson’s sit-down conversation with Mona Kosar Abdi, he expressed his support for Taylor Swift’s new album, citing his fandom for Kelce and the Chiefs.
“I like her boyfriend (Kelce), too,” said Jackson, “I like the team. I like KC (Kansas City Chiefs). I like the whole thing.”
50 Cent received a shoutout in Taylor Swift’s song “Ruin the Friendship” from her latest studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“It really is cool because when she makes the reference, if you listen to the song, it’s to what was going on in culture at that time,” said Jackson, “The music, you couldn’t miss it at that point. That’s why it was cool to me. What she was making reference to is the period that no one was more prominent in music at that point.”
A collaboration between 50 Cent and Swift could be possible, and Kelce’s involvement isn’t too far-fetched.
