Friday, October 3
12 A.M.: Album Release
Swift will be dropping her 12-track album as soon as Friday begins. There will also be a special midnight Target event, where select stores will be open to sell physical copies. See more information here.

3 P.M.: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl Movie Debut
The first screening of Swift’s release party film will be at 3 P.M. in theaters across the country. It will be showing through Sunday, October 5, and features the premiere of Swift’s first music video for the album, “The Fate of Ophelia.”
“You’ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single ‘The Fate of Ophelia,’ along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl ❤️🔥,” Swift wrote on Instagram of what to expect.

5:40 P.M.: Swift’s The Graham Norton Show Appearance
Swift makes her first talk show stop on The Graham Norton Show. She’ll join fellow guests Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Domhnall Gleeson for a roundtable interview.
While the full episode isn’t airing until next Thursday at 11 P.M. on BBC America, The Graham Norton Show’s YouTube channel will likely share clips earlier.
Saturday, October 4
All Day: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl in Theaters
Swift’s release party film will continue showing in theaters nationwide.

7 P.M.-ish: Mystery “Standby” Event
Fans noticed that Swift’s schedule has a “Standby” event marked around the 7 P.M. slot on Saturday. The singer hasn’t announced what it will be yet.
Theories include Reputation vault tracks, a tour announcement, or a surprise appearance somewhere. Saturday Night Live may be more unlikely since Bad Bunny is hosting, and Doja Cat is performing—but with Swift, anything is possible.
Fans pointed out that Sabrina Carpenter—the sole artist Swift duets with on the album—is headlining the 2025 Austin City Limits festival that night. Swift could join her for their first live performance of the track.
Sunday, October 5
All Day: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl’s Last Day in Theaters
Sunday is the final day Swift’s release party film will be playing.
