SHEBOYGAN – Dare to Dream Theatre is seeking young performers for its upcoming production of “Peter Pan.”
Auditions will be Nov. 1 at the Sheboygan Lutheran High School Center for Arts and Performance, according to a community announcement.
The production is open to performers ages 18 and younger, with a cast limit of 55. Minimal roles are available for pre- and early readers.

Classic tale comes to life
Based on J.M. Barrie’s classic tale, “Peter Pan” follows the adventures of Peter and his fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, as they whisk the Darling children away to Neverland. The story features encounters with a ticking crocodile, the Brave Girls, a band of pirates and the villainous Captain Hook.
Audition details
Those interested in auditioning should sign up for a dance and vocal audition slot. Performers are asked to prepare 32 bars of a musical theater selection, with selections from the show encouraged. Instrumental tracks are also welcome, and a Bluetooth speaker will be provided for auditions.
For those who may be nervous about auditioning, the announcement encourages them to audition a cappella with a familiar song such as “Happy Birthday” or “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.”
Callbacks are TBA Nov. 3-8, with rehearsals scheduled to accommodate performer conflicts.
