Jennifer Lopez has reportedly pulled out of the SCAD film festival after her latest movie, “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” flopped at the box office.

According to reports, the actress is “done” with the project and has moved on to the “next big thing.”

This comes after it was reported that Jennifer Lopez is “thriving” and has found peace in solitude after the end of her relationship with Ben Affleck.

The actress is said to be distancing herself from “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” after it failed to make an impact at the box office, grossing just $1.6 million after two weeks.

The musical, which stars Lopez in a supporting role, has sparked Oscar buzz for the singer and received praise from critics; however, none of the hype has helped make it a commercial success, prompting Lopez to “cut her losses” and move on.

Speaking to Rob Schuter’s #SchuterScoop, one insider noted, “She’s done,” adding that “she made the call — no pressure, no spin. She saw the flop and bailed.”

Lopez is said to have canceled her Virtuoso Award appearance after finding out her film won’t be screened at the festival.

“She’s not celebrating failure,” another source said of Lopez’s decision. “She’s pivoting.”

People close to the actress have also shared that she is looking forward to better things and is focused on her next move.

“Jennifer doesn’t linger,” an alleged friend of the singer said. “She learns, she moves, she reinvents.”

Another source emphasized that it was not an emotional but a strategic decision for Lopez to ditch “Kiss of the Spider Woman” swiftly.

“She dumped Spider Woman before it could drag her down,” the insider claimed. “Classic JLo — she calls the shots, and she’s already on to the next big thing.”

Lopez and Affleck aren’t getting back together despite recent speculations that have swirled since the duo were spotted looking cozy on the red carpet of “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”

The movie is one of the projects Lopez has featured in since splitting from the actor, and Affleck was reportedly only there to support her, as hinted by the numerous glowing remarks he made during an interview at the premiere.

According to a source who spoke with US Weekly, “there is nothing going on between them,” as the actress is rather focused on her blossoming career and her kids, Max and Emme, 17, whom she shares with ex Marc Anthony.

With several months having gone by since Lopez and Affleck finalized their divorce in January, much has also changed in the actress’s personal life.

“Jen feels more comfortable in her skin than ever,” a second source informed the outlet.

“There’s a sense of independence and peace about her. She’s in a really good headspace right now,” they added.

Having to play more than one role in her first screen musical was undoubtedly daunting, but Lopez pulled it off flawlessly, as evidenced by the rave reviews the project has received since its debut.

That feeling of success is reportedly still coursing through Lopez’s veins as she gears up for her next ventures, including her “Up All Night” residency set to launch in December.

“She’s coming off a high with the movie opening,” said a third source. “It’s fueling her confidence; she feels on top of the world.”

“She feels like she has a lot more to give,” they added. “It’s just the beginning.”

Further proof that Lopez is completely done with Affleck, and, by extension, her other exes, can be seen in the blunt remarks she made about her past relationships during a recent appearance on “The Howard Stern Show.”

At the time, Lopez told the host that her former partners were never capable of truly loving her.

“They don’t have it in them. They need to appreciate the little person inside of them. They need to love them,” she said.

She went on to describe her split from Affleck as “the best thing that ever happened” to her, as it set her on a journey of self-discovery.

According to the actress, she now feels “much more self-assured” and “self-aware of the things that have happened to me.”

“[I] feel really comfortable and good in being myself, all the good parts and all the kind of complicated things,” she added.

Lopez’s comment reportedly didn’t sit well with some of her exes, with one report claiming it left Affleck “livid.”

“He feels like she’s rewriting history. He gave her everything — love, stability, a second chance — and she’s out here saying no one ever loved her? It’s insulting,” the insider revealed, per Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop.

Lopez’s first ex-husband, Ojani Noa, had a more intense reaction, which he aired in a furious Instagram rant over the weekend.

“Stop putting us down. Stop putting me down with your victim card,” the 51-year-old wrote. “The problem is not us. Not me. The problem is you. You’re the one who couldn’t keep it in your pants.”

In addition to accusing the singer of infidelity and claiming she was playing the victim, Noa also called out Lopez for choosing fame and fortune over their marriage.

He added, “Tell the truth for once. Let people know you are the problem. You should be embarrassed, ashamed of yourself.”
