Cott will star opposite co-writer and actor Margot Pitts, who is also making her feature debut. Production is underway in Long Island and is scheduled to wrap mid-November. Others in the cast include Dylan McTee (Wrong Turn) and Adam Faison (Hellraiser).
The film follows Imogen (Pitts), who accompanies her boyfriend Jack (Cott) and his two childhood best friends, Gage and Freddie (McTee and Faison), on a weekend getaway. There, she must participate in a tournament of high-stakes games, leading her to question her sanity and her safety.
Games We Play is produced by Taryn Gates and Raza Rizvi, who recently produced the coming-of-age comedy Lemonade Blessing, which premiered in competition at the 2025 Tribeca Festival. Molly Scharlin Ben-Hamoo penned the script with Pitts.
