Sam Mendes’ Beatles Biopics: Cast Announced for the Roles of the Band’s Wives

Sony Pictures has finally confirmed the actresses joining Sam Mendes’ upcoming project The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event, after months of rumors and guessing. According to Sony, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Saoirse Ronan, Anna Sawai, and Aimee Lou Wood will portray the wives of The Beatles in the much-anticipated series of films.

McKenna-Bruce, known for How to Have Sex, will play Maureen (Cox) Starkey, Ringo Starr’s first wife. Ronan, from Little Women and Lady Bird, will take on the role of Linda (Eastman) McCartney, Paul McCartney’s first wife.
