King Charles Gives Harry & Meghan Major Ultimatum

The recent meeting between Prince Harry and his father King Charles has seemingly opened a new chapter in their relationship. Is reconciliation possible? It all seemed like a faraway dream not so long ago, but now that the King and his son have not just met, but Meghan Markle and Harry’s kids were also present, it all feels closer to becoming true.

Closer is reporting that the King walked out of the meeting “very pleased” and with a renewed sense for the future and his chances of getting to really know his grandchildren. A source told the outlet, “Charles came away from this visit very pleased. Spending time with Archie and Lilibet meant the world to him, and he has told everyone they were an absolute delight.”

However, the King also reportedly had an “ultimatum” for Harry and Meghan, too: “As much as this was a chance for Charles to spend time with his grandchildren, it wasn’t the only thing on the agenda. He also made a point to make sure Harry and Meghan understand exactly where they stand and that, from now on, things happen on his terms, or not at all.”

‘This is their absolute last chance; if they put a foot wrong again, that’s it. ‘ He is being very clear about that. Harry’s been told he needs to take a back seat and trust his father to handle things his way, in his timing, even if it’s slower than he and Meghan would like.’

According to an insider, “Above all else, they need to keep their mouths shut about anything that goes on behind Palace walls. Charles also expects Harry to conduct himself with the humility and grace he was raised with, rather than trying to call the shots or rising to every bit of bait.”

“If he can follow the rules, there is a path back, but if there are any more leaks or public tantrums or any signs of disrespect towards the monarchy, Charles has made it clear that will be the end of things for good. This is well and truly the last chance.”

This comes after Hollywood insider Rob Shuter reported that Harry is eager for a reconciliation. “No one doubts Harry misses parts of his old life,” one senior royal source told Naughty But Nice. “The question is what exactly he misses. Is it his family—or the status, security, and influence that came with being a working royal?”

Another insider put it this way: “Trust has been shattered,” adding, “Private family conversations have become books, television interviews, documentaries, lawsuits, and endless headlines. People inside the Palace are asking one question: what’s different this time?”

Reportedly, there’s no interest in the “half-in, half-out” arrangement Harry proposed in 2020. “The late Queen said no, and that answer still stands,” a palace source said. “You can’t be a part-time royal. You’re either all in or you’re all out.”

That doesn’t mean relationships cannot be repaired, however.

“Harry may eventually be welcomed back as a son,” one source told Naughty But Nice. “But as a working royal? That ship has sailed.”
