Staging performances in over two dozen countries and winning various awards, he views music as the voice of the soul and emphasises that true artistry and hard work are crucial for his success.
He has developed his passion for singing since childhood. He began his professional career in music with the launching of his album Yaadharu in 2010. This album consisted of seven popular tracks. Bhuwan believes music reflects society and serves as a force for change, touching on themes like family, love, and societal issues. Now, he is preparing to release two new songs with music videos. He says he is focused on original Nepali music across various genres. His emotionally resonant songs appeal to the younger generation and gain popularity. He emphasises quality production, engaging videos, effective promotion, and collaboration with skilled production companies for success.
According to him, taking Nepali music abroad instills pride and promotes Nepali culture. “The diaspora shows great appreciation, making it feel like I bring the culture itself with me,” he said. He feels proud to see Nepali youth humming songs in countries like the United States. Despite a busy schedule, he and other artists cherish participating in events celebrating Nepali music.
He has many popular songs to his credit, including “Traffic Jam”, “Jhamke”, “Manchhe Bhuima Dhalchha”, “Hey Barai”, “Lehenga Horror”, “Maili”, “Yo Deshko Lagi”, “Pahilai Bheti”, “Yo Pagal Maan”, “Makhmali”, “Halka Halka Chumna Deu Na Kali”, “Engagement”, “Yo Manko Aakashma”, Dhalkyo Topi Shiraima”, “Khayo Barai Bhamarale”. Committed to singing original Nepali songs, he explores various genres—folk, modern, pop, and festival songs—believing they should be timeless, emotional, and impactful. He is also preparing to record new songs for an album that blends traditional Nepali melodies with modern styles. The album will feature a mix of modern, folk, and folk-pop songs, he said.
He also plans to continuously participate in cultural events, stage shows, and music competitions while promoting Nepali music internationally. Additionally, he aims to organise cultural exchange programmes for Nepalis abroad and hold music events. His dedication to music has brought him recognition, fame, and social respect.
