Marjorie Taylor Greene was cool as a cucumber during her recent appearance on The View.
On Tuesday, November 4, the conservative congresswoman, 51, appeared as a guest on the hit daytime talk show, joining hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin, for a conversation about politics.
The far-right Republican claimed that fans wanted her to have conflict with the show’s hosts — who vary along the political spectrum — but that she wasn’t going to give them that.
“I think that all of us right here are doing a great job of exchanging our ideas and things that we believe in, and we’re doing it in a very professional and kind way,” Green remarked. “I think we need more of that in America, I really do.”
“A lot of people wanted me to come on the show and say nasty things, and all of us to fight. They wanted all of us to fight,” she insisted. “I didn’t want to do that today because I believe people with powerful voices like myself and like you — and especially women to women — we need to pave a new path.”

“This country, our beautiful country — our red, white, and blue flag — is just being ripped to shreds, and I think it takes women of maturity to sew it back together,” she further explained. “I think that happens through free speech.”
The politician’s calm demeanor on the talk show marked a departure from the controversy she had stirred up online recently. As the National Enquirer reported last month, Green complained about Bad Bunny being the Super Bowl halftime performer after his Saturday Night Live monologue, where he told viewers they could learn Spanish before the game.
“Bad Bunny says America has 4 months to learn Spanish before his perverse unwanted performance at the Super Bowl halftime,” Green wrote on X. “It would be a good time to pass my bill to make English the official language of America.”
“And the NFL needs to stop having demonic sexual performances during its halftime shows,” she added.
