CBS and Dick Clark Productions said Tuesday that the 52nd edition of the show will take place on Memorial Day, May 25, from MGM Grand Garden Arena. It’ll air live coast-to-coast starting at 8 p.m. Et/5 p.m. Pt on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
Last year’s edition, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, also took place on Memorial Day but was held at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
Nominations for the 2026 AMAs, which honor “the most influential artists and songs of today,” are based on key fan interactions as reflected on the Billboard charts, including streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay and tour grosses. The list of nominees will be unveiled April 14. Winners are chosen by fan votes.
The show will also feature performances and other special moments, which organizers touted as “a multi-genre, cross-generational celebration of music.” Additional details will be announced in the coming weeks.
