Carly Rae Jepsen made an exciting announcement recently, revealing to fans that she’s pregnant with her first child with husband Cole Marsden Greif-Niel.
The “Call Me Maybe” singer turned to Instagram on Monday to confirm to her followers that she and her newlywed husband are having a baby.
“Oh hi baby,” Jepson wrote as a caption, alongside a few black and white pregnancy photos with her husband.
The thrilling news comes after the pop star and music producer jumped the broom during an intimate ceremony on Oct. 4 at New York’s Chelsea Hotel. The wedding held about 100 guests in the iconic building’s Bard Room, per Vogue.
“We knew we wanted a location that meant something to us, and the Chelsea Hotel had become a home away from home every time we were in New York,” Jepsen told the publication. “As artists, its iconic history and lore made it that much more appealing. For planning, we had weekly dates to talk out all the details of the wedding. This way it was only ever fun and not too much at once.”
The two announced their engagement in September 2024 via Instagram. The post was of the couple hugging outdoors, while putting the engagement ring on display.
“Very engaged over here,” she wrote.
