The film is currently shooting in Alberta, Canada. Written by Haigh, the script is an adaptation of Colm Tóibín’s short story of the same name. The film is set high in the mountains as fall comes to an end and a family prepares for the long winter ahead.
The film also stars Fred Hechinger (Thelma), Kit Connor (Warfare), and D’Pharaoh Woon-a-Tai (Warfare). Further casting includes Manuel Garcia Rulfo (Jurassic World: Rebirth) and David Furr (The Gilded Age).
