Before marrying Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was very used to seeing herself on the big screens as she played the role of Rachel Zane in Suits. While the Duchess of Sussex, 44, reportedly loved acting, she turned away from this career to pursue love, and to be a full-time working royal alongside her husband, Prince Harry.
However, as Meghan and Harry quit that royal role in 2020, the door appears to have been reopened for the Duchess to return to the big screens again. This has now happened, with news breaking last night that Prince Harry’s wife is actually set to appear in the movie Close Personal Friends.
It has been reported that Meghan has been seen on the set in Pasadena, LA, and will play herself in the film.
Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding are also believed to have roles in the upcoming movie.
While Meghan herself has not addressed this, it is believed she is enjoying being back on set, and has the support of her husband Harry, 41.
However, not everyone thinks her return to Hollywood is a good thing, with many people online slating the decision.
