Food Network star and bestselling cookbook author Ree Drummond just served up something new for fans ahead of Thanksgiving — and they’re eating it up.
On Saturday, November 8, the Pioneer Woman star announced on Instagram that she has launched a brand-new YouTube channel called — what else? — “The Pioneer Woman” and kicked things off with a complete Thanksgiving special.
“Just launched my new PW YouTube channel with a complete THANKSGIVING special (from prep to pies!)…and here’s a little preview (with cut off text, sorry 🤓),” Drummond wrote in her caption. “The whole dang video is on YouTube.com/thepioneerwoman (or link in my profile.) I had fun making this with my talented buddies @chef.treywilson @savannagivens and @jhornstien 🦃🥧❤️, and boy is my stove tired!!! 😂.”

The Instagram video is a quick teaser of her first full-length YouTube upload — a nearly 30-minute cooking tutorial called “Ree’s Step-by-Step Gameplan for the Perfect Thanksgiving! 🦃”
In the video, Drummond tells fans, “Hey friends, it’s almost Thanksgiving time, and if you have ever pulled off the whole Thanksgiving meal by yourself, you know that you cannot wake up on Thanksgiving morning and knock it all out in one day. I have been making Thanksgiving dinners for approximately 31, 32 years, and I kind of consider myself an expert at it. I don’t say that about many things.”
She continues, “But I’ve learned through the years that the best way to do it is to start doing little things every day leading up to Thanksgiving, and then on the big day, it’s pretty much a piece of cake. So this video is going to walk you through all the steps to pull off the perfect Thanksgiving dinner. I’m going to leak all of my recipes below in the caption. Are you ready? This is gonna be fun!”

Her new “Pioneer Woman” channel already boasts nearly 21,000 subscribers, featuring the Thanksgiving video alongside about two dozen older uploads from several years ago. Drummond also operates a second channel, “Drummond Ranch,” which offers behind-the-scenes glimpses of life on her Oklahoma ranch.
