As Nikki Glaser was closing out her night hosting Saturday Night Live, Taylor Swift fans noticed the comedian’s nod to the singer and her latest album The Life of a Showgirl
Nikki Glaser has once again confirmed she is a Swiftie with her attire on Saturday Night Live.
On Saturday, Nov. 8, the comedian made her hosting debut on the hit comedy skit show, alongside Sombr, who acted as the musical guest.
Nikki started off the night on the wrong foot with fans as many slammed her for an “insane” 7-minute monologue that included a few “gross” and “not funny” references. However, at the last minute, she made it all right as she closed the show wearing a homage to Taylor Swift and her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

While signing off and saying her thank yous to the cast and crew, the comedian was dressed in a white graphic t-shirt and a pair of black leather shorts. The star piece of the ensemble turned out to be the top, which didn’t just have any ordinary picture on the front.
The short sleeve featured a full silhouette of Taylor in one of her many sparkling ensembles.
Within the black and white image, the singer is seen extending her arms to the sky while pointing her leg outwards, wearing a black crystal-embellished bodysuit. She paired the one piece with matching knee-high boots and gloves that sat at the top of her arms with a flame-like structure.
Nikki customized the t-shirt a bit adding sparkling accents to the lining.
Her outfit choice caused a frenzy, especially amongst Swifties, with one on X saying, “omg nikki wore the shiny bug tshirt on snl.”
Another added, “Save the best outfit for lasttttt AND she bedazzled it!! Crushed it.”

A third pointed out the coincidence of the ensemble’s timing to the singer’s first time hosting the show, writing, “And Taylor first hosted SNL on Nov. 7, 2009.”
Taylor made her first-ever appearance on SNL on Jan. 10, 2009. It wasn’t until later that year she acted as a host on the comedy show.
She last appeared on SNL in October 2023. She made a surprise cameo to introduce her friend Ice Spice as the musical guest.
Since then, Taylor has been dedicating her time to putting out new music. Several months later, she dropped The Tortured Poets Department and just last month, she released The Life of a Showgirl.
Nikki has been amongst the loudest celebrities to throw their support behind the singer and her new album.
Shortly after it was released, the comedian took to TikTok to hop on the trend of learning Taylor’s The Fate of Ophelia dance.
In previous sentiments, she has also praised the singer for her talent.
“Anyone who knows me knows I’m obnoxiously obsessed with her and her music,” she wrote to Instagram in 2020.
