Did Megan Moroney just give fans a sneak peek of her next album?
On Sunday, Nov. 9, the country singer seemingly offered a glimpse into her next project via Instagram. In the clip, Moroney stands in a monochromatic blue room. When she opens the shades, her dress changes from blue to pink, an instrumental track begins playing, and a bright pink utopia is revealed.
On the cover of Moroney’s most recent album, Am I Okay?, the country star was photographed in front of a deep blue background. So now, fans are wondering if the next record will switch to a Barbie-esque, pink aesthetic.
The post has no caption, and comments on it were disabled. However, fans took to X to react to the news of a new album possibly coming soon.
“It’s giving hi Barbie!” wrote one fan. “I can already tell this is going to be the most iconic YET.” commented another.
“I’M SO EXCITED WE’RE IN OUR PINK ERA,” added a third. “We’re going to be giving a Barbie party at her next tour !!! I’m so for it.” said a fourth.

In September, fans began theorizing that Moroney would be announcing her next album soon. They noticed her using the number 9 repeatedly on social media — though they thought this meant an Oct. 9 announcement date, rather than Nov. 9.
Moroney’s next record — title still unknown — will be the third studio album for the singer. Her debut EP, Pistol Made of Roses, was released in July 2022, followed by her debut studio album, Lucky, in May 2023.
Most recently, the singer dropped her second studio album, Am I Okay?, in July 2024, followed by its deluxe version later that year.
