Jack Osbourne has revealed what his mum Sharon and sister Kelly think of him going on I’m A Celebrity, months after his father Ozzy’s death.
The Black Sabbath legend died of heart failure aged 76 at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22, just two weeks after performing a farewell concert with his bandmates at Birmingham‘s Villa Park.
In the wake of Ozzy’s death, Jack, 42, will head to the jungle as part of a star-studded line-up, including Kelly Brooks, Aitch and Alex Scott.
In a new interview, Jack says his family have given him their full support and hope taking part in the show will help him in his grief.
‘Mum and Kelly, they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive,’ he says.
‘It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind. I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure.

‘It’s not the longest amount of time I’ve been away from them.
‘I’ve gone on different trips filming Adrenaline Junkie for nearly two months without a phone, but I still had access to one and I was able to make calls home.
‘It’s going to be very difficult not speaking to my wife and kids. But yes, I do hope I can make my family proud.’
Ozzy had been battling a number of health issues in the years leading up to his death, including a fall in 2019 at the family’s home which saw his condition further deteriorate.
The rocker passed away surrounded by his family after performing his final show in Birmingham.
Jack says he is looking forward to throwing himself into the I’m A Celebrity… jungle life to take his mind off his heartache.
He says: ‘I definitely had to think about doing this programme.

‘It’s an absolute commitment but the real reason why it is popular is people sit at home saying, “Could I do that?”, so I think a lot of why I’ve said ‘yes’ is the intrigue and how would I survive that? I am very nervous though!’
Jack admits he is ‘not great with bugs’ but isn’t bothered by a heights when it comes to a Bushtucker Trial challenge.
Asked if he will be a great peacemaker in camp given his family’s no-holds-barred banter on their hit reality show The Osbournes, Jack says. ‘Sometimes I can get pretty sh***y when I am worn out. I don’t know. It will be case by case, but generally I am a pretty positive person.’
The survival reality show, presented by Declan Donnelly, 50, and Ant McPartlin, 49, will be back on the popular channel this coming Sunday (November 16).

Each year, two contestants enter a week later than the first batch of 10 celebrities and typically have to complete their own task before joining the rest of the camp.
