As we move on to Dancing with the Stars season 34, episode 9, the remaining contestants have been whittled down to only seven in the series’ anniversary episode.

Week 9’s celebratory episode features a special guest judge, former DWTS host Tom Bergeron, and a dance relay with a special twist.

However, YouTube TV subscribers may still need some guidance on how to watch this week’s episode, as the ongoing dispute between YouTube TV and Disney rages on (although it may be winding down, thankfully).

Watch With Us has put together a handy guide for episode 9 and how to watch it.

When Will ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34, Episode 9 Air?

Dancing with the Stars season 34, episode 9 will air on Tuesday, November 11 at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST.

New episodes of Dancing with the Stars will continue to air through Tuesday, November 25.

What Channel and Streamer Is ‘Dancing with the Stars’ On?

Dancing with the Stars airs live on both ABC and Disney+, and the new episodes become available on demand the following day via Hulu and Disney+.

How to Watch ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Without YouTube TV

The end may be nearly in sight for the ongoing contract dispute between YouTube TV and Disney, but until then, it continues to serve as a major interruption for YouTube TV subscribers who rely on the channel for watching shows live via ESPN or ABC.

But there’s a silver lining: you have options. Firstly, if you already subscribe to Disney+, you can still watch live and don’t need to wait until it’s on demand the next day. If you’ve got Hulu, you can add on Live TV for a fee. If you’d rather keep things free, you can try a trial with fuboTV, which is a quick fix and offers a whole host of channels if you decide to keep your subscription.

Sling TV Is Probably Your Best Option

If you don’t mind paying, you can also subscribe to Sling TV with the Sling Blue and/or Orange packages.

At $46 per month, Sling TV offers a well-priced subscription package that happens to be lower than any of the platform’s major competitors. Want access to local channels too? It doesn’t cost much to throw in an HD antenna.

And if you upgrade to Sling Orange for the very low price of $4.99, you get more of the Disney-owned channels needed to watch programs like Dancing with the Stars.

Last week, a major shakeup between YouTube TV and Disney has been causing blackouts for viewers who rely on the app for watching Disney-owned channels. Unable to reach an agreement, Disney has been blacked out on YouTube TV. That means subscribers needed to find other ways to watch last weekend’s college football games without ESPN. […]

How Can I Watch ‘Dancing With the Stars’ For Free?

The best way to watch Dance with the Stars for free is the old-fashioned way — by watching it over the air. All you have to do is tune into your local ABC affiliate at the right time. If you don’t want to bother with subscriptions, streamers and dispute interruptions, perhaps it’s best to go back to basics.

What Is the Theme of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34, Episode 9?

Following last week’s “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame” night, we now find ourselves at the show’s celebratory “20th Birthday Party” episode in honor of Dancing with the Stars’ 20th anniversary.

To honor such a milestone, the remaining contestants will compete by reinterpreting an iconic freestyle performance from previous seasons. Later in the night, we’ll see the return of the “Relay Dance” competition, which will feature performances of the quickstep, jive and Viennese waltz, and features a fun catch. For the first time, celebrities will compete without their professional partners. Instead, they’ll be partnered with a returning champion, like Rumer Willis and Apolo Anton Ohno.

Performances will feature dances to songs like “Cell Block Tango,” “Singin’ in the Rain” and “Get Up” by Ciara and Chamillionaire. The opening number — choreographed by Derek Hough — will be set to a remix of the Dancing with the Stars theme by Ray Chew.
