“Cruise Ship Designer” is “about a cruise ship and hotel designer who’s skilled and paid well, but who doesn’t believe his role has real worth,” vocalist and lyricist Florence Shaw explains. “He tries to enjoy it, and invests himself in meeting the challenges of the job.”
It’s the latest single from the post-punk band’s forthcoming Cate Le Bon-produced record Secret Love, following “Hit My Head All Day.” “Cruise Ship Designer” comes with a music video of the group’s Lewis Maynard performing a dance routine choreographed by BULLYACHE. Learn some new moves below.
