Joe Hendry has bad news on the doorstep after his latest parody song. Hendry was served a cease and desist.
In an effort to hype the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship bout between Ethan Page & Chelsea Green and Joe Hendry & Thea Hail at NXT Gold Rush, Hendry produced an amusing ditty titled, “Ethan and Chelsea Got Pied.” The rhythm is based of, “American Pie,” by Don McLean.
The lyrics focus on the infamous creampie incident involving Page and Green. Hendry crooned the chorus with Matt Cardona catching strays:
Pie, pie, Chelsea got pied
Says she’s never been creamed, but that is a lie
And Ethan Page is with her most of the time, but Matt Cardona says that it’s fine

Not everyone found this song amusing. Chelsea Green sent a cease and desist demand. The paperwork was filed by former D’Angelo Family consigliere Luca Crusifino. The letter claims that the public humiliation and ridicule have resulted in reputational harm and emotional distress.
Hendry has 24 hours to comply with the cease and desist demand. That means you better listen to the song as much as possible before it disappears.
