Holly Ramsay’s future mother-in-law, Caroline Peaty, was not invited to her star-studded hen do last weekend, with insiders claiming she was ‘banned’ over fears she’d ‘stick out’
Holly Ramsay, the daughter of famed chef Gordon Ramsay, allegedly left her future mother-in-law off the guest list for her bachelorette party due to concerns she “might have stuck out a bit,” according to insiders.
While Holly, her mom Tana, family friend Victoria Beckham, and Adam’s sister were living it up at the hen party last weekend, Caroline Peaty, 59, was at home looking after Adam’s son from a previous relationship. It appears that Holly and her fiancé, Olympic swimmer Adam, have decided not to extend an invitation to Caroline for their lavish wedding next month.
A source close to Holly, 25, gave some insight into what might have influenced her decision.

They spilled: “The Ramsays are wealthy and they enjoy the finer things in life because they can afford it. On the other hand, the Peatys are far less refined. Adam has a glamorous new life now and it seems he has left his family behind.”
Another friend added: “You only need to glance at the photo to see that there is a certain ‘type’. They all look identical and you wonder if Caroline might have stuck out a bit.
“She’s an ordinary woman, not a celebrity. You look at Holly’s Instagram and it’s all so orchestrated, so ultra-glam and very, very showy. That’s not Caroline.”, reports the Express.
Photos shared on Instagram, including by Posh Spice herself, reveal the bachelorette party at the ultra-exclusive Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire was a glittering affair.
The radiant women are seen with cocktails and champagne, celebrating Holly’s final days as a single woman before she ties the knot with the athlete, reports the Mirror.
After the event, Caroline shared a poignant quote on Instagram: “When you love someone, you protect them from the pain, you don’t become the cause of it.”
She added in the caption: “The ones I love are the people who hurt me the most.”
Her followers were quick to comment, with many slamming Adam and his troubled relationship with his mother. One fan wrote: “You only get one mother in life, some people need to remember this.”
Another chimed in: “Hold your head up high; not many Moms would’ve got up at 4am for those pool runs. Adam should be so proud.”
Caroline’s sister, Louise Williams, also jumped into the dispute, accusing influencer Holly of being “divisive and hurtful” in a lengthy post about the family feud.
The Uttoxeter woman addressed Holly directly on Instagram, writing: “I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman [Caroline], who I have loved and continue to love deeply.
“A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law, to your hen night yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night.
“You invited your mom (quite rightly) and even your mom’s assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law.”
According to the Daily Mail, Caroline and her husband Mark were initially invited to the wedding at Bath Abbey, with Caroline even buying a dress for the occasion.
However, the invite was withdrawn amidst a bitter family feud, leading Caroline’s other sister, Janet, to publicly state that Holly and Adam had “broken my darling sister”.
Despite the ongoing family drama, it is reported that Holly’s family thinks highly of Adam. An insider shared: “The thing with someone like Gordon is that he is kind and caring, he adores his kids and their partners, but he generally gets whatever he wants.
“No matter what family dynamics are at play, when you have a normal side of a family and a very, very rich and globally famous one on the other, there are going to be difficulties.”
