If you’re a fan of the beloved Arizona band The Format and missed out on seeing their mini reunion tour earlier this fall, you’re in luck.
The indie rock band kicked off their return from a 20-year hiatus by performing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” before performing a sold-out show at the Arizona State Fair followed by a show in New York and one in California.
And while they do have a 2026 tour planned around the release of their first new album since 2007, “Boycott Heaven,” they’ve decided to give fans a little early Christmas present.
On The Format’s official TikTok account posting a video announcing an acoustic tour that will make stops in New York, Ohio, Minnesota and Arizona in December.
But that’s not all, the TikTok video also revealed that the band plans to donate $5 from every ticket sale to a local food bank in each city, except for the stop in Tucson which will go to The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project.
Where The Format will stop on their December 2025 acoustic tour
The Format are only playing four acoustic shows for this mini tour:
Rochester, New York: Dec. 9.
Cleveland, Ohio: Dec. 10.
St. Paul, Minnesota: Dec. 13.
Tucson, Arizona: Dec. 15.
How to purchase tickets to The Format’s acoustic tour
Tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 14, at noon local time. However, you must have a code to purchase the tickets.
Go to theformat.com and register for your show. You will receive your purchase code about 15 minutes before tickets go on sale.
