Garth Brooks is elated for his wife’s new Christmas album. The country music star took to social media on Monday, Nov. 10 to share an update of sorts as Trisha Yearwood gets ready to embark on a holiday tour.
“I love these songs,” Yearwood was quoted as saying on Brooks’ website. “It’s a mix of traditional…a couple of more ‘modern’ songs…and there’s an original song that Garth and I wrote together.”
“There’s never too early a time to play Christmas music,” Yearwood continued. “When people go, ‘I’m not putting up my tree until after Thanksgiving,’ I’m like, ‘I’m putting up my tree November 1st because I want the holiday to get here and I want it to last as long as possible. I want to put up every decoration on the planet…I don’t want to put ’em up and have to take them down in three weeks…so I start listening to Christmas music a little earlier than most people.”
