The Hubbardston Senior Center will host holiday events this month.
The center will hold its Holiday Country Christmas Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at 7A Main St., according to a community announcement. The event will feature Hunter’s Stew with homemade bread, available for dine-in or takeout. Mr. and Mrs. Santa will be present from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and visitors are encouraged to bring cameras for photos.
The fair will include handmade items crafted by local artisans, a Chinese auction, a lottery tree and a bake sale.
In addition to the fair, the Hubbardston Swingin’ Singin’ Seniors will perform their annual Christmas concerts. The first concert will take place at 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Senior Center. The group, consisting of 30 voices, has been preparing a selection of favorite Christmas songs. Jeannine Como will direct the choir, and Deb Page will accompany on piano. Refreshments will be served after the concert.
The concerts are open to the public, and attendees can look forward to a variety of performances from soloists and instrumentalists.
