Good Morning America debuted Taylor Swift’s new trailer for her upcoming docuseries, End of an Era, which received a positive response – despite one complaint from fans
During the November 13 episode of Good Morning America, fans got to experience the first-ever look at the official trailer for Taylor Swift’s upcoming End of an Era docuseries.
The show, which is coming to Disney+, gives fans a backstage look at her record breaking Eras Tour, which earned the title of highest-grossing tour of all time, earning over $2 billion in ticket sales from 149 shows spanning from March 2023 to December 2024.
Swift took her tour to 21 countries and 51 cities, selling over 10.1 million tickets. A typical Eras Tour production was a three-plus hour experience.

This time, fans get a look at what went on behind the scenes during her tour, and GMA viewers were the first to see the formal trailer. Many fans were left thrilled for the release of the series, with one calling it the ‘ultimate fan fuel.’
Despite the glitz and glam of the two-and-a-half minute clip, there was one complaint that some viewers of the morning talk show expressed.
Most fans were elated as they stormed X to share their thoughts.
One person said, “As a die-hard Swiftie who’s seen Eras Tour twice (& cried both times), this docuseries is the ultimate fan fuel, reliving that $2B magic & behind-the-scenes vibes that made us all feel alive. Taylor, you’ve redefined “endgame”… but seriously, drop the confetti cannon merch?”
“The Eras Tour already felt like a fever dream—now we’re getting the unfiltered director’s cut? Sign me up for every chaotic backstage moment. Happy almost-birthday, Taylor; let’s make December the month we all relive the sparkle. Can’t wait for Dec 12,” another fan said.
A third chimed in, “Just when I thought the tour withdrawal was kicking in you drop this absolute gem. And honestly I am dying to see the logistics behind the acoustic set selection and the chaos under the stage during transitions. It feels like the perfect way to finally close the chapter. Is it.”
But, one person complained, “Another documentary for an era that’s been going on for a decade.”
Someone else echoed a similar thought, saying, “yes, another era, another documentary. At this rate, the behind-the-scenes of the behind-the-scenes will drop before my own life gets interesting.”
A third unimpressed viewer said, “Hmm, not sure if this is the best way to relive it… I kinda wish there was a proper concert film for the whole run. Tbh, I’d prefer watching a full show on Disney+ over a docuseries, even backstage stuff. Are you going to release a full tour film later?”
Shortly after the trailer debuted on GMA, Taylor took to her social media to share the clip with fans.
She captioned her post, “Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage.”
Swifties with Disney+ can tune into the six episode special on December 12.
