The huge event takes place in Liverpool this weekend

If you’re visiting Liverpool this weekend, there’s a chance you might spot a celebrity. Liverpool Comic Con will return to the Exhibition Centre Liverpool this weekend, running from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16. The event is set to welcome thousands of fans eager to meet some of their favourite film and TV stars.
Comic Con Liverpool attendees can still look forward to a star-studded weekend featuring Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd, Beetlejuice Geena Davis and Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey.
Over the years, stars in town for the popular fan convention have been seen around the city. Hollywood stars, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Billy Boyd, Sean Astin and Dom Monaghan, all known for their roles in Lord of the Rings, were spotted inside the New Capital restaurant in May 2024.
Posting to Instagram, Dom, who plays Merry in the films, shared a picture of the reunion between the Hobbit and Elf, Orlando.
