Vroom-vroom! Nomad, a drama series set in the violent underworld of New Zealand’s outlaw bikers, is revving its way onto Apple TV. Headlined by Jason Momoa, with Son of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter and Chris Collins (John Wick 3) taking showrunner duties, the series is expected to be another big-budget Apple TV production.
Nomad will follow the story of a warrior torn between two lives, two callings, and two families who must decide which path defines his true destiny.
The new team-up between Jason Momoa, Kurt Sutter, and Apple TV is stirring up good memories. Momoa is reuniting with Apple TV for the third time after delivering hits like See (2019 – 2022) and Chief of War (2025 – present).
For Sutter, it’s a homecoming to the turf that birthed outlaw biker series such as Sons of Anarchy (2008 to 2014) and Mayans M.C. (2018-2023). Although there were plans for a mini TV series set during the time of the Vietnam War focusing on the “First 9” members of the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club, that project unfortunately was axed by FX following reports of unprofessional behaviour. It seems Nomad is the answer to filling that void.
No release window has been set yet, but reports suggest that the pilot episode is currently in the works.
