Hollywood offered an early look at three major 2026 releases this week, as teaser trailers dropped for new installments in some well-known franchises.
Disney and Pixar gave the first glimpse of “Toy Story 5,” teasing a tech-driven adventure for Woody, Buzz and a new smart-device character voiced by Greta Lee.
Nintendo and Illumination followed with a fresh trailer for “The Super Mario Galaxy,” confirming Brie Larson’s role as Rosalina.
And nearly two decades after its original run, “The Devil Wears Prada 2″ debuted its first teaser, marking the return of Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

‘Toy Story 5′
Although “Toy Story 5″ won’t be released until June 2026, fans of the film franchise got their first look at the new movie as the first teaser trailer was released Tuesday.
The trailer shows the toys’ next challenge: technology. The preview features Lilypad, a frog-shaped smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee, best known for “Past Lives,” “The Morning Show” and “TRON: Ares.”
Tom Hanks returns to voice Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear and Joan Cusack as Jessie. Comedian Conan O’Brien also joins the cast as Smarty Pants, a toilet-training tech toy.
The film will debut June 19, 2026, marking the first new film in the franchise since 2019.
‘The Super Mario Galaxy′
A Marvel star will voice a character in the upcoming Super Mario movie, according to a trailer released on Wednesday.
Brie Larson, who has portrayed Captain Marvel in multiple MCU films, will voice cosmic princess Rosalina in the upcoming “The Super Mario Galaxy” movie.
In the trailer, Rosalina is shown inside her Comet Observatory before battling the robot Megaleg from the original “Super Mario Galaxy” game.
The movie is slated to be released April 3, 2026.
‘The Devil Wears Prada 2′
The first teaser trailer for “The Devil Wears Prada 2″ has been released, nearly 20 years after the original film’s huge success.
Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway reprise their iconic roles as Miranda Priestly and Andy Sachs, with the sequel set to hit theaters May 1, 2026.
