Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling have said ‘i do’ in a
romantic church ceremony.
The couple exchanged vows at All Saints’ Church in Kemble with
the Royal Family in attendance.
The King and Queen led the guests at the celebration which took
place under grey skies as the Cotswolds village was hit with
unseasonably cold weather for June.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were also there.
The bridal party consisted of Harriet’s daughter, Georgina, and
Peter’s two daughters, Savannah and Isla.
They followed the bride into the tiny church as she prepared to
walk down the aisle on the arm of her father.
Harriet Sperling chose a dress by Emilia Wickstead, a favourite
designer of the Princess of Wales, for the ceremony. She wore the
Festoon Tiara that belongs to her now mother in law, Princess
Anne.
Among the guests were Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo
Mapelli Mozzi. Pricness Eugenie, who is expecting her third baby,
arrived with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. It marks a first major
appearance with the Royal Family for the princesses.
The newlyweds emerged from the church under rain with the groom
holding an umbrella over his new wife.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2025 after a
summer which had seen Harriet attend several major royal events
including Ascot where she was invited to arrive in the carriage
procession one day, an indication that the relationship was
serious.
Following the wedding ceremony, Peter and Harriet invited guests
to a reception held at Princess Anne’s Gloucestershire estate,
Gatcombe Park.
